Martin Conrads

* 1969, lives in Berlin, freelance journalist, author, studied communications, psychology and modern history. From the mid-1990s to the 2000s he was a member of groups like mikro e.V. or the internet-radio project convex tv with an emphasis on audio concepts, radio plays and media culture. Artistic works include sound, text, picture, internet and real space. Contributions for numerous publications and magazines. Co-edited the magazine "Texte zur Kunst", 2001 – 2002. Member of the curating team at the "6th Werkleitz Biennale" in Halle, 2004. Works at Radio_Copernicus in media contexts, artistic productions and experimental radio.

Thomas Doktor

1967, lives in Berlin, artistic radio producer, studied modern and medieval German literature, dramatics and philosophy in Berlin. Works for Deutschlandradio Kultur since 1997 in the field of radio plays, features and spoken word productions. Coorganised “Sonic Arts Lounge" at the Maerz Musik Festival, 2003. Works at Radio_Copernicus with a focus on literature, radio plays, experimental word and sound productions.

Olaf Matthes

Geboren 1977, lebt in Greifswald, kreativer Techniker und künstlerischer Programmierer, Studium der Computer-Visualistik und Kunst, Zusammenarbeit mit international renommierten Künstlern, seit den 1990er Jahren algorhythmische Kompositionen mit eigener Soft- und Hardware, entwickelt Streaming- und Kontrollsoftware (basierend auf Pure Data und Max/MSP) für Veranstaltungen, produzierte verschiedene Features für unabhängige Radiosender, arbeitet für „Radio_Copernicus" als technischer Direktor und als Produzent von Musik- und Wortbeiträgen.

Jacek Skolimowski

Geboren 1980, lebt in Warschau, Journalist und Radio-Macher, Club-DJ. Studium der Japanologie; eigenes Programm beim polnischen alternativen Sender Radiostacja, in dem er eine Spannbreite von Musik präsentierte; in Kooperation mit dem Warschauer Herbst leitet er beim Jazz-Radio eine Sendung über zeitgenössische Musik; arbeitet als freier Mitarbeiter für verschiedene polnische Magazine wie „Przekrój”, „Aktivist”, „Fluid”,„Glissando”; Co-Autor der Bücher „warsaw-en mouvement“ und „ warszawa -wposzukiwaniu centrum“. Für Radio_Copernicus arbeitet Jacek Skolimowski u.a. als DJ und Mode-rator.

Adam Witkowski

Born in 1978, lives in Gdansk, audio and video artist, majored in media studies at the Academy of Arts in Gdansk. Cooperates with different media artists and has won several honours at art festivals. Released first solo album in 2003. Works in technical areas at the Laznia Centre of Contemporary Art in Gdansk. Works for Radio_Copernicus mainly as a technical expert and also in the areas of music archives, DJ sets and presenting.
