Krenz, Igor
Igor Krenz, who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, queries reality with the help of video. Krenz challenges the viewer to ask such questions like “what is real?” and “how can we create our own reality?” He is a member of the Polish artist group “Azorro” founded in 2001. The group works on themes like “the rituals and framework conditions of the art business” and “the entelechy of communication”, utilizing film productions which subtly and amusingly reveal stereotypes of “postmodernism”.
